The personal data we collect from you will be used for the following purposes, which are necessary to establish our relationship with you and to provide the services and/or orders you request.
The personal data that Te Amaranto collects when you first register will be used for identification and authentication purposes across all services, so you may use the same account credentials to log in from any location and device. We use and analyze this personal information for the additional purposes described below:
- Purchase and sale of merchandise offered by Te Amaranto on its digital platform (via the internet) and physical store.
- Payment transactions will be processed by Openpay.
- To provide the contracted services efficiently and with the required quality.

Video surveillance in our stores
Both Te Amaranto branches operate a video surveillance system that captures image and audio, for the purpose of protecting the safety of our customers and our staff. Before entering you are informed of this through the notices displayed at every entrance, which state expressly that image and audio are recorded; this section is the full privacy notice those notices refer to.
- What is captured: image and audio of the common and access areas of the premises. There is no capture in restrooms, fitting rooms, staff rest areas or any other space where a reasonable expectation of privacy exists.
- Purpose: the safety of the people inside the store — customers and staff — and of property; the prevention and clarification of incidents on the premises; and the handling of claims. It is not used to assess customers or staff, it is not used for marketing, and it is not subject to facial recognition or any other form of biometric identification or profiling.
- Retention: recordings are kept for 30 calendar days and are then deleted automatically, unless a specific recording must be retained because it relates to an incident, a claim or a request from an authority, in which case it is kept only for as long as that purpose requires.
- Who can access them: only authorised Te Amaranto staff. They are not shared with third parties, except where a competent authority formally requires them in the exercise of its powers.
You may exercise your ARCO rights over the images and audio in which you appear by writing to contacto@teamaranto.com. So that we can locate the recording, please state the branch, the date and the approximate time, and attach identification showing that you are the person who appears in it. Please note that, given the nature of the system, the recording may already have been deleted if more than 30 days have passed, and that the right of access is handled in a way that does not affect the privacy of other people appearing in the same recording.
Sensitive personal data
Te Amaranto does not collect or process sensitive personal data — such as racial or ethnic origin, health status, genetic information, religious, philosophical or moral beliefs, union membership, political opinions or sexual preference. Should processing such data ever become necessary for a specific purpose, your express written consent would be requested before collecting it.
Cookies and measurement technologies on the website
Our site uses first- and third-party cookies and similar technologies to keep your session and cart, remember your chosen language, measure use of the site and display advertising. For those purposes we use Google services (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads) and Meta (Facebook pixel), which may collect browsing data associated with your device.
Cookies necessary for the site to work — session, cart and language — cannot be disabled without preventing purchases. Measurement and advertising cookies can be disabled from your browser settings, by clearing the site cookies or by using private browsing; Google and Meta also provide their own ad personalisation controls.
Minors
Our online store is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect data from people under 18 to create an account or make a purchase. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor in your care has provided us with their data, write to contacto@teamaranto.com and we will delete it.
In addition, the sale of products whose purchase is restricted by law to adults requires age verification, both on the site and on the premises.
Data protection authority
If you believe your right to the protection of personal data has been infringed, or that there has been a breach of the applicable rules in the processing of your data, you may turn to the competent authority for the protection of personal data held by private parties.
